Quality Control

China Loong Hardware Co., Ltd. applies structured quality control throughout sourcing, production, assembly, packaging, and shipment. Our inspection practices are designed to support consistent quality across furniture hardware, door and window hardware, bathroom and kitchen fittings, fasteners, locks, hinges, drawer slides, casters, shelf supports, hand tools, and other metal hardware products.

Inspection criteria are established according to approved drawings, samples, purchase requirements, intended applications, and product-specific standards. We maintain inspection records and communicate clearly with customers when specifications, testing methods, or acceptance criteria require confirmation.

1. Incoming Material Inspection

Quality control begins with incoming raw materials, purchased components, and packaging materials. Our inspectors verify materials against relevant specifications before they are released for production. Items that do not meet the defined requirements are identified and handled separately for review.

• Material verification: Material type, thickness, dimensions, hardness, or other relevant properties are checked subject to product specifications.
• Component inspection: Springs, screws, bearings, cylinders, plastic parts, and other functional components are examined for condition, compatibility, and critical dimensions.
• Surface condition: Metal sheets, bars, castings, and purchased parts are checked for visible corrosion, deformation, cracks, burrs, and other defects that could affect processing or performance.
• Packaging material review: Cartons, labels, bags, inserts, and protective materials are checked against approved packing requirements.

2. In-Process Quality Control

Production processes are monitored at appropriate stages to identify variation before products reach final inspection. Operators and quality personnel follow internal inspection standards and approved product requirements for stamping, machining, die casting, welding, polishing, surface treatment, assembly, and other applicable processes.

• Dimensional control: Critical dimensions, hole positions, thread details, tolerances, and assembly interfaces are checked with suitable measuring equipment.
• Process consistency: Production settings, fixtures, tooling condition, and representative samples are reviewed where they can influence product conformity.
• Assembly checks: Moving and connecting parts are examined for alignment, secure fastening, smooth operation, and correct component installation.
• Surface finishing: Plated, painted, powder-coated, polished, or otherwise finished parts are inspected for color consistency, coverage, adhesion, scratches, exposed areas, and visible surface defects.
• Nonconforming product control: Suspected items are segregated for evaluation, rework, replacement, or other appropriate action before production continues.

Quality priorities vary by product. For example, drawer slides and hinges require attention to movement and alignment, locks and catches require reliable engagement, casters require stable rotation and assembly, and fasteners require accurate dimensions and thread condition. These characteristics are controlled according to the confirmed design and application requirements.

3. Finished Product Inspection

Finished products are inspected against approved samples, drawings, specifications, and order details. The inspection scope is adapted to the product type and may include visual, dimensional, functional, assembly, and performance-related checks. Additional testing can be arranged when it is defined in the customer’s specification.

• Appearance inspection: Products are checked for dents, sharp edges, burrs, stains, discoloration, scratches, coating defects, and other visible issues.
• Dimension and fit: Key dimensions, mounting points, clearances, and matching components are checked to support proper installation.
• Functional verification: Hinges, slides, locks, latches, catches, closers, handles, casters, and adjustable fittings are operated to confirm their intended movement and function.
• Assembly and completeness: Inspectors verify that required screws, brackets, keys, fittings, instructions, and other accessories are present when specified.
• Product-specific testing: Load, cycle, torque, coating, corrosion-resistance, or other relevant tests may be conducted or coordinated subject to the product specification and agreed inspection plan.

4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Check

Packaging is reviewed to help protect hardware products during handling, storage, and international transportation. Before shipment, we confirm product identity, quantity, packaging method, labeling, and order-specific documentation against the approved requirements.

• Packaging protection: Appropriate separation, cushioning, moisture protection, surface protection, and carton strength are considered according to product weight, shape, and finish.
• Label accuracy: Product descriptions, item references, quantities, barcodes, shipping marks, and other requested information are checked for consistency with the order.
• Quantity verification: Inner-pack and outer-carton quantities are reviewed before goods are released for shipment.
• Final order review: Product models, finishes, accessories, carton condition, and specified packing arrangements are reconfirmed before loading.

5. Feedback, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement

China Loong Hardware Co., Ltd. treats customer feedback as an important part of quality management. When a quality concern is reported, we review the available order information, samples, photographs, inspection records, and production details to identify the likely cause. Relevant teams then evaluate containment, correction, and preventive measures based on the specific issue.

Improvement actions may include updating inspection points, refining work instructions, adjusting process controls, reviewing supplier performance, improving packaging, or providing additional operator guidance. Through documented communication and practical follow-up, we work to improve product consistency and support dependable long-term cooperation with international B2B customers.
